Koh Lanta is een paradijs voor duikers, met enkele van de beste duiklocaties van Thailand, de meest spectaculaire eilanden, de gezondste koraalriffen en een enorme diversiteit aan zeeleven.

Hier op Lanta kunnen we dankzij onze ongeëvenaarde locatie niet alleen duiken in het Mu Koh Lanta Marine Park, maar hebben we ook gemakkelijk toegang tot de geweldige duiklocaties in het Mu Koh Phi Phi Marine Park.

We hebben een uitgebreide Lanta Marine Life Guide samengesteld met foto's en beschrijvingen van honderden soorten vissen, koralen en andere verbazingwekkende wezens die u kunt verwachten te zien tijdens het duiken met ons hier rond Koh Lanta.

Na terugkomst van een duiktrip brengen onze medewerkers graag tijd door met onze gasten, om de duiken te registreren en onze kennis te delen over het prachtige zeeleven dat tijdens uw duiken is gespot.

We geven de internationaal erkende Open Water Diver-cursus in verschillende talen, met groepen van slechts 2 of 3 studenten per duikinstructeur (max. 3).

Nog niet klaar om je brevet te halen? Probeer dan onze eendaagse Discover Scuba Diving-ervaring met een instructeur tot maximaal 12 meter.

Een paradijselijk eiland

Koh Lanta is niet alleen een duikbestemming, bezoekers vinden het ook heerlijk om het eiland zelf te verkennen en ervan te genieten. Ondanks dat het een van de grootste eilanden van Thailand is, blijft Koh Lanta relatief onbekend en wordt het vaak over het hoofd gezien door de overgrote meerderheid van de bezoekers aan Thailand.

Met een lengte van ongeveer 25 km en een breedte van 4 km heeft het rustigere eiland Koh Lanta de drukte en het massatoerisme van plaatsen als Phuket, Phi Phi, Ao Nang of Koh Tao weten te vermijden.

Met prachtige zonsondergangen, lange zandstranden en uitstekende vervoersverbindingen is het niet alleen gemakkelijk om naar Koh Lanta te reizen, maar kunt u Koh Lanta ook gebruiken als uitvalsbasis om Krabi, Ao Nang, Koh Jum, Koh Phi Phi, Koh Mook, Koh Kradan, Koh Lipe en de rustigere zuidelijke eilanden.

De beste tijd om ons te bezoeken voor duiken hier bij Dive & Relax op Koh Lanta wordt bepaald door het weer en de windrichting, met de overheersende westenwind van oktober tot mei die het hoogseizoen weer brengt, en de oostelijke moessonwinden van juni tot begin oktober die de laagseizoen stormen brengen.

  Small groups, wonderful service, great food, highly recommended!

  We spent a morning with Dive & Relax, visiting Koh Ha for a snorkelling trip with our 2 girls (11 & 14). From the moment we made contact with D&R, we felt assured they were the right company for us to go with. They were brilliant in every sense: Meeting us to fit the snorkelling gear and run through initial questions / collecting us from our accommodation / safety briefing before we set off / friendly and professional team on the boat etc. As well as the top notch service, we opted for D&R due to the small group size. We had our own snorkelling guide (Steffi) for the trip - with just one other customer. Steffi was fantastic - teaching us all about the sea life, checking we were ok, but also leaving us to explore what we wanted; the balance was perfect. We were with a small diving group on the boat, and which worked well. The visibility was great on our trip - we saw abundant fish in every colour imaginable. Nemo, porcupine fish, parrot fish, angel fish all sorts! I would highly recommend Dive & Relax and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

  We had a terrific experience with Tino from dive and relax. Made 8 dives with him to the major dive sites. Well organised, fast boats, very small groups with personal attention.   Incredible diving with Dive & Relax

  Having dived for almost 10 years, Dive and Relax is arguably the best dive operator I have dived with so far! Incredible service and each staff member clearly has a great passion for marine life. We did not bump into other dive groups and had a true sense of remoteness. The marine life is stunning and the corals are in pristine condition. After completing 2 dives at Koh Rok, we went back to Koh Lanta but on the way, we came across a Bryde whale! The captain immediately reversed the speed boat and we ended up having a close encounter for 20 minutes (the whale swam under the boat!!), something most dive operators wouldn’t do. Highly recommended!

  Professional, safe and fun. Overall a brilliant experience.

  We dived at Koh Haa in March with Dive & Relax and it was a fantastic experience. Cameron and the team are thorough, knowledgable and friendly, everything you want from a Dive Shop. Our instructor Oh was also wonderful, great fun, really knows her stuff and made us feel super safe and well looked after too. Overall probably the best dive shop we've dived with since we started diving over ten years ago. The reef around Koh Haa was also seemed in great condition with some lovely unusual soft and hard corals and the sheer amount of fish was super impressive. There was so much to see. Can't wait to dive with them again in the future. Would highly recommend.

  Where to start? The best diving center ! Professional, excellent service and accompaniment. I have Advance Open Water since 45 years and dive rarely. I felt in COMPLETE security with The team. Thank you to Cameron’s team and specifically to Oh, my instructor and body during those 2 days (4 dives). Sharks, turtle, squid, moray, harlequin schrimp, … and so much more. They have speed boat and they know where to go.

  Awsome experience - hardly improvable

  This is probably one of the best dive centers we have been booking over the past 10 years. It starts with a very elaborate reply on initial contact, which had Cameron explain any possible questions on how to enjoy diving around Ko Lanta with them. We personally enjoyed the absolutely easy settling of the down payment and the rest of the bill during the stay via WISE (formally WiseTransfer) - no fumbling around with cash or complicated money transfers. The only cash we used was on tiping of the Dive Leads. D&R offers a complimentary pickup service, which we only used on the last of our four dive days. Initially, we stayed only some 200m off the dive center at LAILA PLACE 1415, and had planned to relocate to Ko Phi Phi for another section of our dive trip, but... after hearing how touristy KPP is AND how much pleasure the diving with the D&R crew had been, we canceled KPP completely, just switched hotels on KL and extended our stay with Cameron for more diving! Our dive leaders were Toni from ARG and Oh from THA ... both did a great job taking care of us before, during and after the dive trips. We had brought our own dive equipment and D&G took care of loading it on the self-owned boats, arranging for tanks and rinsing the equi after the day of diving. A standard day starts "early" depending on the day's target area and its distance to the dive base - either around 0710h or 0810h for predive briefing with your dive leader of the day. Once everybody is ready, it is a short walk on the beach to reach deep enough water (tides) to embark the speedboat(s) that take you to the dive spots. They have a weekly schedule that covers all locations periodically, adding to that alternates should conditions at the original location don't permit for a great experience on that given day. One day trip equals two dives, each planned one one tank between 40 to 60min - depending on planned depth / currents, they have plenty of bottled water, soda, and fruit for everybody. A warm lunch will be served during the surface interval between dives, and it is yummy, authentic thai food .. mildly seasoned, thankfully 🙂 Well, enough said ... it was an awesome experience, and should we decide to "do" Ko Lanta again, it will definitely be with Cameron and Dive & Relax! Thanks for your outstanding services!!
