Snorkeling in the Lanta Marine Park
For those wishing to keep their aquatic adventures on the surface, we offer daily snorkel trips from Koh Lanta to some of the best snorkeling locations in the Andaman Sea.

Explore extensive and shallow coral reefs around the two Koh Rok islands, or discover wonderful marine life around the six islands at Koh Haa.
All our snorkel trips will take you to the same spectacular coral reefs normally only seen by scuba divers.
Koh Haa Snorkel Trips
Snorkeling around Koh Haa can be some of the best in Thailand, especially when conditions are good and we can snorkel at the beach on Koh Haa Yai, or at The Lagoon in the center of these spectacular islands.
These six islands are just a short speed boat trip from Lanta, and are home to a huge variety of marine life, hard and soft coral gardens, millions of fish, and countless other marine species.

Snorkel trips to Koh Haa depart from the south end of Long Beach around 9 am, with travel time by speedboat normally around 30 minutes, depending on weather and sea conditions.
Koh Haa snorkel trips usually arrive back on Lanta around 1:30 pm, again depending on the weather and sea conditions.
All of our snorkel trips have two stops, with a break for lunch between the dives/snorkel sessions.
On the morning of a trip, our snorkel guides will choose the best two snorkeling spots at the destination islands based on the weather forecast, sea conditions, and currents.

Koh Rok Snorkel Trips
Also in the Mu Koh Lanta National Marine Park are the shallow and gently sloping reefs around the picturesque and coral-fringed islands at Koh Rok, home to some of the most famous snorkeling spots around Koh Lanta.
These two beautiful tropical islands provide super diving and snorkeling areas, suitable for both the beginner snorkelers and for more advanced snorkelers, with the divers exploring the deeper parts of the reef.

As with Koh Haa snorkel trips, trips to Koh Rok involve two snorkeling spots, with a break for lunch between activities. After our first snorkeling spot at Koh Rok, we can often stop at a nearby deserted beach on Koh Rok Noi for lunch, before continuing to the second snorkeling spot.
Koh Rok snorkel trips depart Koh Lanta at 8 am, with travel time by speedboat normally around 50 - 60 minutes depending on weather and sea conditions.
Koh Rok trips usually arrive back on Koh Lanta around 2 pm, again depending on the weather and sea conditions.

Our snorkel trips are guided by experienced and professional snorkel guides, who will give you a thorough pre-snorkel briefing on Lanta before the boat departs in the morning, and will help to find and identify interesting marine life around Koh Lanta for you.
Our snorkel guides will be on hand all through the day to help with the snorkeling equipment, fetching life jackets, spotting marine life, and answering any questions you may have on the fantastic islands and coral reefs around Koh Lanta.
Upon returning to Lanta, our snorkeling guides are happy to spend time with our snorkeling guests, identifying and logging the fantastic marine life spotted during the trip.
We want to make sure that all our snorkeling guests feel just as important as our diving guests and that they receive the same personal attention and great customer service as our divers.
