Many of us have taken an underwater digital camera on our holiday dives. Full of enthusiasm, we've snapped away at every single thing that swam past us, conviced that we will be showing off some amazing photos to friends and family back home. Once back on the dive boat however, we look through our photos and they are very often a big disappointment.
Let us show you just how the professionals take stunning underwater photos, and give you the opportunity to build your own underwater photography skills with one of our expert-led photography workshops.
Who Should Take Our Workshops?
Our workshops are fully flexible, can be easily adjusted to your needs or schedule and are open to anyone interested in taking underwater digital photos.
The workshops are aimed at both those with little or no underwater photography experience and those who already own an underwater digital camera and looking to improve their photo skills.
Basic Guidance: Private Photo Guide
For those who already have their own camera, we offer two dives with your own private photo guide. Our professional photographer will guide you slowly around the dives sites, offering advice and practical tips, such as finding great subjects and composing your shot.
We love taking underwater photos ourselves, so we know exactly what you want from a photo guide.
You will have up to two hours underwater (2 dives) just taking photos, without having to follow a group of non-photographers and missing out on great opportunities to capture some of the wonderful tropical marine life found in the Andaman Sea.
Level 1: Introduction to Underwater Photography
An introduction to the basics of underwater digital photograhpy, including 2 dives. We will spend time the day before the dive, briefing you on how to use a digital underwater camera properly, which settings are best for underwater shots, how to prepare the camera and what to expect on the dives.
The following day, you will be one-on-one with one of our photographic instructors, who will work with you throughout the day, teaching you about positioning, composition, lighting and offering advice, tips and answering questions on how to get the most out of your camera and the underwater environment.
After each dive, the instructor will spend time with you reviewing the photos and offering advice. Once back on land, we'll give you the chance to review the photos on a PC and show you how to edit the photos to bring out the best in them.

Level 2: Perfecting Your Skills
If you are already a little familiar with underwater photography, or you've already completed a basic underwater photography course (Level 1), then why not take things a little further?
During the Level 2 course, you will really start to bring back some excellent photos of the wonderful and diverse marine life in the Andaman Sea.

The Level 2 course can be taken on a single day with 2 dives, or over 2 days with 4 dives depending on just how enthusiastic you are. Our professional dive staff have been living and working here for several years and have a huge knowledge of the local marine life, giving you the opportunity to get some fantastic photos for your album.
