Dive & Snorkel from our two Luxury Speedboats, 'Saya' and 'Saai Rung'

We value the comfort of our guests and for that reason, we have customised our speedboats for maximum safety and fun.

'Saya', our 10.9m (35ft) fibreglass speedboat has a beam of 3m (10ft) and is powered by twin V6 200hp Yamaha outboard engines, giving it a top speed of around 40 knots (75 kph).

'Saai Rung' is slightly longer and wider than 'Saya' at 11.4m (37ft), and is also powered by twin V6 200hp Yamaha outboard engines.

Both our speedboats feature comfortable seating, purpose built tank racks, on-board western-style toilet and 2 fresh water showers.

We limit the number of diving guests on board to a maximum of 10 per day, ensuring that you will never experience that feeling of overcrowding often encountered on larger dive boats.

Beach Departure

Unlike other dive operators on Koh Lanta, we can bring our speedboats up onto the beach in the morning, right outside your resort. This means no early morning transfers to the main pier by road, extra time to relax in bed, and a beach drop-off when we return in the afternoon.

This combination of fast boat and beach pick-up means less travel time to and from the dive sites, usually saving between 3 and 6 travel hours per day! This gives you more time to relax and enjoy your valuable, well-earned holiday time...

Safety

We take the safety of our guests and staff very seriously.

Whenever our speedboats put to sea, we always ensure that we carry a fully stocked Medical Kit, Medical Oxygen Equipment, Life Jackets for everyone on board, GPS, Fire Extinguisher, VHF Radio and Mobile Phones. In addition, all our dive staff and our Thai boat crew are fully trained in Emergency First Aid, CPR and Oxygen Administration.

Dive & Relax is the only dive operator on Koh Lanta to have our Thai boat crew certified as PADI Rescue Divers.

Hyperbaric Chamber

The Badalveda Diving Medicine Network is affiliated with the Bangkok Hospital Group, the largest international hospital network in Thailand.

All hyperbaric chambers are located inside the hospital. This means injured divers are able to receive a higher standard of care. The Bangkok Phuket hospital also has a 24 hour ambulance service stationed in nearby Krabi Town.

In the very unlikely event that a serious accident occurs, we can arrange air-evacuation from Koh Lanta to Phuket by air-ambulance, with a journey time of only 10 minutes direct to the international hospital.

Dive & Relax is a member of the SSS Recompression Chamber Network in Krabi, providing 24 hour access to professional diver medical services and emergency transport to a hyperbaric chamber.

When your travel insurance does not cover Recreational Scuba Diving, we offer Dive Accident Insurance with 100% cover & world wide protection for only 150 Thai Baht per day.
