Lanta Castaway Resort is situated in a prime location on the beach in Phra Ae village to the southern end of Long Beach.

The beach side bar is one of a kind with magnificent views looking towards the western horizon, Koh Phi Phi and north across the length of Long Beach.

Lanta Castaway guests also benefit from having a Dive & Relax office directly within the resort. Our speedboat departs from the beach directly in front of the Castaway Resort each day at 9am for diving and snorkeling trips, normally returning in the early afternoon between 1.30pm and 2.15pm.

Accommodation

Lanta Castaway Resort offer 15 luxury air conditioned villas; 1 Beach front Villa; 4 Seaview Villas and 10 Deluxe Villas. All villas are furnished to the same high standards. Additionally, there are 3 Garden Bunglow fan rooms.

All rooms are less than a 1 minute walk from beach.

Beachcomber Bungalow:

These villas are very spacious and comfortably adorned. They include Air-Conditioning, cable TV, minibar, indoor toilet, hot water showers, terrace, a private patio and a king sized or twin bed.

Sea Breeze Bungalows:

These villas are very spacious and comfortably adorned. They include Air-Conditioning, cable TV, minibar, indoor toilet, hot water showers, terrace, a private patio and a king sized or twin bed.

Tropical Daze Bungalows & Family Bungalows:

(formally Deluxe Bungalows)

The Tropical Daze Bungalows contain spacious mid-size rooms which are arranged with either one king sized or two twin size beds. Most of these bungalows are of a duplex design with secure doors connecting the two rooms. This design allows guests to let just one room or both rooms which is ideal for families. They are comfortably adorned and contain Air-Conditioning, cable TV, toilet, hot water shower, and a terrace.

Garden Bungalow:

The Garden Bungalows are gems. Built with wood siding and an abundance of windows they offer simplistic comfort. Each contain a double size bed, ceiling fan, an indoor toilet, hot water shower, safety box and terrace.

Prices are in Thai Baht based on two persons sharing. Prices include breakfast, service and taxes. Extra bed rates and Garden Bungalow rates are exclusive of breakfast.

General Services:

Lanta Castaway Beach Resort provides free sea kayaks for guests, Dive & Relax Dive Centre, massage & spa, free Wifi, laundry service, safety deposit boxes, a tour desk and motorbike rental.

Restaurant:

The large open air restaurant offers a terrific view over the Andaman Sea. A variety of delicious TexMex and Texas BBQ dishes are offered, as well as many popular Thai dishes.

Dive & Relax PADI Resort offers PADI Scuba diving courses for both beginners and experienced divers. For beginners, we offer a one-day, 2 dive Discover Scuba Diving experience, and for those wanting an internationally recognised scuba diving qualification, we offer the 3 to 4 day PADI Open Water Diver course. Of course, we also offer PADI Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver and Divemaster courses.

Get picked up in style from your resort each morning! Book any Multi-Day Diving Package online, and where possible, we will send our speedboat to your resort in the morning to pick you up from the beach, returning you by speedboat directly to your resort again in the afternoon, completely free of charge. If you plan to stay at a resort on Long Beach (Phra Ae), Klong Dao beach, or Kaw Kwang beach then please ask us about our free speedboat transfers.

Experienced or first-time underwater photographer? Rent a camera or bring your own and learn how to capture those stunning professional shots often seen in magazines on our 1 day, 2 dive photography workshop at one of the stunning coral reefs in the Andaman Sea.

We limit the number of divers on our speedboat, and keep the diving groups small, typically 2 or 3 with a professional Divemaster or Instructor, which means that our guests can enjoy maximum personal attention, comfort and safety.
